Dr. Soorej K
Dr. Soorej K established The Cochin Pet Hospital in 2010, creating Kerala’s first ever multispecialty pet animal treatment and care centre. A dedicated veterinarian, Dr. Soorej graduated in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in 1998 and served the Department of Animal Husbandry, Kerala for 12 years, gaining invaluable experience in public animal health. Throughout his career, Dr. Soorej has pursued manifold, competent training programs in diverse veterinary specialties, ensuring his practice remains at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. His vision for The Cochin Pet Hospital was to create a facility where quality diagnostics would be synchronous with the treatment modalities of evidence-based medicine. Under Dr. Soorej’s leadership, The Cochin Pet Group has expanded rapidly to include The Cochin Pet Spa, Cochin Pet Resorts, The Cochin Pet Shop, and Cochin Pet Center, all established in a short span of time to provide associated services like grooming, training, boarding, and pet supplies.

His commitment to animal welfare has led to the opening of 3 additional branches at North Paravur, Vaduthala, and Thripunithura. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Soorej is the founder member and President of THE FELINE ASSOCIATION, KERALA, which is an association dedicated to cat breeders, cat parents, and lovers. He also serves as the founder member and CPD Director of SAVAK (Small Animal Veterinary Association, Kerala), further demonstrating his dedication to advancing veterinary medicine and animal welfare throughout the region. Dr. Soorej’s impelling concern has always been client-centered service and compassionate healthcare delivery, establishing consistent standards of utmost pet care that have made The Cochin Pet Hospital the trusted leader in veterinary services throughout Kerala.
